The Jake Haapajoki Memorial Cup is a 3 on 3 hockey tournament in memory of Jake Haapajoki who took his life in 2018. Jake was a bright, loving, and caring kid who could always make everyone laugh. In his memory, our 3 on 3 hockey tournament raises money for suicide prevention and awareness and created a scholarship to give to students at Brainerd Highschool. 

Our tournament has grown  into something we could never have imagined with over 100 teams competing in our small three year existence. To our knowledge, it is the biggest backyard hockey tournament in the world! The best part about the tournament?  There is no hockey experience required. We provide four divisions of hockey; Expert, intermediate, novice, and 12U.
